Road trip – Food on the road
My husband and I drove from southern Spain to Hesse last week in 4 days and 3 nights. We visited friends on the way, which was a nice break from the monotony of driving such a long distance. I always have a lot of admiration for long-distance drivers and people who have to drive long distances. It’s really exhausting for me. But that’s not the point… It’s about: What do we eat on the road? Things that are easy to prepare, easy to transport, keep for a while and taste delicious….

If I’m well prepared for a trip in terms of food, I can make ends meet. Simply driving off and hoping to find something edible and digestible is unfortunately not an option. The day before we leave, I’m always busy cooking and baking! But I’m very happy, the trip went well!
