Gastrointestinal problems – Cornelia Sperling

Bubbling in the stomach
Cornelia Sperling has been plagued by gastrointestinal problems for over a year. Flatulence, an almost constant feeling of fullness and bubbling in the stomach were not only unpleasant when working in a school office. Cutting out cow’s milk brings her improvement for a while, so she suspects the cause lies in her diet. Cornelia learns about the Cytolisa program from her family doctor and wants to try it out.

“I’m not allowed to eat anything anymore.
The test result is a shock at first.
Many things that were previously on the table every day reacted strongly in the test: Cheese, eggs, rice, wheat, oats, spelt, bananas and yeast – Cornelia should ideally eliminate all of these from her diet. She doesn’t know how she is supposed to implement all of this.

“I thought the consultation was great.
In the consultation, practicable solutions are sought together.
Cornelia has no opportunity to cook at work and dinner has always been the main meal. The tips on alternatives with a dash of humor help her: “At the beginning, my consultant said ‘Think about the arsenic, then it will be easier for you to give up rice’ and he was right. I no longer miss rice at all.” (Note: Rice from Asia often contains elevated levels of arsenic, which was frequently reported in the media at the beginning of 2017).

Gastrointestinal problems improved by over 90%
At the beginning, Cornelia makes almost all recommendations a reality. She was rewarded just 3-4 weeks after changing her diet: “The bloating is gone, the feeling of fullness and bubbling in my stomach has completely disappeared and I’ve lost a few kilos.”

“I’ve loosened up a bit now.
It remains a challenge to implement the recommendations on vacation or when eating out.
“In the beginning, I followed 95% of the recommendations, but now I’ve loosened up a bit and manage around 80%. When I’m on the road, it’s difficult to stick to my diet consistently. It worked quite well on vacation in Greece, but in Germany it’s very difficult when you go out to eat.” If she makes exceptions, she can easily feel it the next day, but it quickly disappears.

“It doesn’t feel bad at all now.
Cornelia’s eating behavior has changed completely over the course of four months and she is starting to get used to her new eating habits.
Her husband supports the change in diet and sometimes cooks soup in the evening. “It doesn’t feel bad at all now.”
