Nutrition for nerve pain, abdominal pain, extreme exhaustion, eczema – Martina
Nutrition for nerve pain and exhaustion – Martina from Allershausen
Martina suffers from a painful nerve after an intervertebral disc operation, which simply won’t calm down for a long time. She is also extremely exhausted and often has abdominal pain, which also affects her back. Martina also suffers from eczema on her hands and eyes. This is so pronounced that she has to wear gloves when peeling vegetables. Her family doctor and a friend drew her attention to the Cyto Lab’s nutrition program.
The test result is a shock
The test result is shocking for Martina: “Everything I’ve eaten so far is intolerable for me: pork, dairy products and cheese are a particular challenge for me because I used to eat them very often.”
Approach the changeover slowly due to amalgam fillings
Martina doesn’t find the change in diet particularly difficult, as she had already completely switched to a gluten-free diet for her son once before and therefore already knows how to do it. However, her test results show that excessive Candida colonization in the intestinal flora is one of the main causes of some of her complaints. As Martina still has amalgam fillings, she is taking the candida elimination slowly (note: candida binds heavy metals such as mercury and thus protects the organism from mercury poisoning) and she is grateful that the Cyto Lab is flexible in the timing of the nutritional advice. This means she can access the advice at her own pace.
The first successes are evident
Despite the slow changeover, the first successes soon became apparent: “Just two weeks after the changeover, I noticed that I was a lot fitter and my stomach pains had also decreased significantly. After a few weeks I got terribly hungry, but that improved after I added more protein.” Three months later, after the amalgam fillings were removed and the mercury drained out, Martina has more energy. The abdominal pain is completely gone and the nerve, which was affected by the disc operation, has also calmed down a good deal – but this may also be due to other therapeutic measures such as jaw surgery.
“There are now days when I’m pain-free and that wasn’t the case before.”
Martina’s fatigue has improved a lot. Before changing her diet, she feared she would suffer from depression, “because I couldn’t get out of bed at all in the morning and the day was a horror for me. Now I can get up well in the morning and I get through the day well.”
A piece of spontaneity is lost
Food procurement is still a big issue for Martina: “When it comes to cooking, I’m more of a spontaneous person and I don’t like preparing or cooking according to a menu. It restricts me too much. I’ve lost a bit of spontaneity as a result.”
“Now I just eat poultry salami”
“I’ve gotten used to the different food. I think it’s a shame that I can’t just order whatever I fancy when I go out to eat. But that’s not so serious. Surprisingly, I don’t miss bread, as I like to eat it warm. Muesli in the morning for breakfast would be nice, but now I just eat chicken salami – that works too.”
Eczema on the eyes when eating too many carbohydrates
If Martina makes exceptions and eats foods that she cannot tolerate, she notices this within one or two days. But the effects have now become less severe: “I hardly get any stomach pains, only my bowel movements are softer and I have a slight hangover in the morning.” Before changing her diet, Martina had bad eczema on her hands and around her eyes. “The eczema on my hands is now completely gone, I can peel vegetables again without gloves, but it always comes back on my eyes when I eat too many carbohydrates.”
“Changing my diet has enriched my life – even if it is sometimes exhausting”
Martina felt well looked after by Cyto Labor: “Consultations every 2-3 weeks would have been too short for me, so I thought it was good that I could take advantage of the consultation appointments at my own pace.” Her conclusion: “Changing my diet has definitely enriched my life, even if it is sometimes hard to find the right food. It’s definitely worth it. I’m very happy with the results.”
