Underweight due to irritable bowel syndrome with frequent diarrhea – Dr. Rita Weber
Field report Dr. Rita Weber, doctor from Giessen, October 2017 to April 2018*
Irritable bowel syndrome with frequent diarrhea – Underweight
Rita Weber works as a doctor in a clinic in Giessen. She has been suffering from diarrhea, abdominal pain and flatulence for years, which have become much worse in recent weeks. So bad that she has lost 5 kg in weight and now weighs just under 50 kg at 160 cm tall and therefore often feels exhausted. Meals usually have to be subordinate to the stressful everyday life of the clinic and family: a snack here and there when the time is right and lots of coffee and cola. A colleague recommends the cytolab to her.
Despite concerns from colleagues, she decides to take the Cytolisa test
Most of Rita Weber’s medical colleagues advise her not to have the Cytolisa test carried out – “it’s a waste of money and doesn’t help”. But Rita Weber has already experienced that a lot of things have to do with nutrition. For this reason, and on the recommendation of her colleague, she finally decided to take the Cytolisa test with consultation.
Test result is a shock
Rita Weber cannot describe the test result as anything other than a shock: she has to give up meat and wheat, which means a big sacrifice for her as a bread lover. “To top it all off, the Cytolabor nutritionist also advised me to cut down on coffee, cola and sweets as much as possible – my daily stress food.”
The first improvement
“I noticed the first improvements after just a few days. The diarrhea has disappeared and I feel less tired and listless. But the search for alternatives that I can tolerate remains difficult.” Her flatulence, which had earned her the nickname “Miss Pupsi” in the meantime, remained for quite some time. Over the next few weeks, Rita Weber’s condition continued to improve and she found suitable food. “After about four weeks, I had found enough alternatives that I liked and that filled me up.”
Weight gain, more vital appearance
After around two months, Rita Weber begins to look better. “I’m less emaciated and my clothes fit better. I feel less ko and my inner feeling is more vital and stronger.” The diarrhea has also completely disappeared, the bowel movements have normalized, the abdominal pain is gone and even the flatulence has significantly decreased and is now within normal limits. “Thanks to the help of the Cytolab, I have found a diet that suits me.”
My recommendation: get help earlier
“If you are in a similar situation to me, I recommend getting help earlier and not being so critical or listening to the warning voices. Try it out for yourself and your body will show you (as it did for me) what is true. When my doctor colleagues told me that the results of the Cytolisa test were all wrong, I just smiled wearily. Because I felt much better than before and the cytolab was really able to help me. I also liked the consultation, because I had the same consultant the whole time, who was there for me for six months and was able to describe what was going on in my body in a scientifically understandable way.”
