Beet, Red Beets – Dinner
Separate the beet from the leaves, wash, boil with the skin on until cooked, set aside and leave to cool. When they are cool, peel, slice and mix with dressing. Separate the leaves from the stalks, wash both thoroughly and cut into pieces.
Cut the red beets off of the leaves, wash, cook with the peal until done. Set aside to cool. Once cool, peel, cut into slices and add dressing. Cut the leaves off of the stems, wash both thoroughly and cut into bite sized pieces.
Peel and finely dice 1-2 cloves of garlic and a piece of ginger. Sauté in the frying oil, add the stalks and simmer for 5 minutes while stirring. Place the leaves that are still wet from washing on top, cover and simmer for a further 5 minutes. Stir everything together and serve hot.
Dice 1-2 cloves of garlic and a piece of ginger. Fry in some oil. Add the stems and stir-fry for 5 minutes. Add the wet leaves (wet from washing them), cover and let simmer for another 5 minutes. Mix well and serve hot.
