Fig puree with cashew cream
This is a very popular dessert. It is very easy to make and tastes simply delicious!
Here, raw cashew nuts (two handfuls) and 6 figs are soaked in water overnight.
The next day, cut off the stalks of the figs with scissors and puree them together with the soaking water in a blender (food processor with rotating blade) to a fine puree. The puree is filled into beautiful jars. Then puree the soaked cashew nuts, also together with the soaking water, to make a cream. Then layer the cashew cream on top of the fig puree and refrigerate for 1-2 hours! Delicious – keeps for several days in the fridge if not eaten immediately! 🙂
