Snack in the afternoon
When others are drinking coffee and eating cake, I sometimes fancy a little something too. Today I made a compote with agar-agar from plums that I harvested, pitted and froze in the summer:
Bring the plums, apple juice and grated ginger to the boil. Mix the agar-agar with a little water and stir into the boiling fruit. Continue to cook for 1 minute and pour into a bowl. Leave to cool and enjoy. Super simple, isn’t it!
I added a few almonds that I had soaked overnight.
