Lentil spread
Lentil spread is a protein-rich, very tasty cream.

3 | Garlic cloves |
100 g | red lentils |
2 TABLESPOONS | Frying oil |
2 TABLESPOONS | Tomato paste |
100 ml | Water |
1 TSP | Salt |
1 TBSP. | Nut butter |
3 TBSP. | Olive oil |
3 branches | Lemon thyme |
1/4 | Lemon zest and juice |
Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves and fry in oil.
Add the lentils and continue to roast for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
Add the tomato purée and water and simmer for 10 minutes.
Remove from the heat and leave to cool slightly. Then add the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. Season to taste and pour into an airtight container. Keeps for 7 days in the fridge.
