For 2 portions: Wash and peel the salsify, cut into bite-sized pieces and cook for 10-15 minutes in a pan with a steamer insert. Heat the butter in a pan, add the salt and stir with a wooden spoon until the butter turns brown. Toss the cooked black salsify pieces in it for 2 minutes.
